When you’re at the gas station and the sultry look you get from Baberaham Lincoln makes you feel like the only girl in the room. Lil’ Baby Abe’y knows how to make ya feel special.

Out with the old site, in with the new site. In between projects we found time to update impactist.com with sharper images and higher resolution video. Ready for your retina displays, new motion projects, new stills series, and new music have been added with even more unpublished projects to come soon!
Packages for shows like The League (Season 7 & Season 6) and Fargo, a couple bumps for The Simpsons, and a bunch of music for Cartoon Network have been added. Even more music comes in the form of the Invisible Snake EP which is now on the site through shop links to download or stream, alongside additional photographic and paint series.
Reminder: if you’re not on Instagram, you can find an ongoing archive of our daily posts on the blog, too.
Viva la resolution!

Load up your packs with four new Impactist tracks. We left the lid off the tank, so help us track down the Invisible Snake. “Snakesnakesnake,” “Oh Sparky,” “Invisible Snake,” and “Trophyatrophy” are all waiting wherever fine tracks are sold.
Stream it or beam it at iTunes, Amazon, YouTube Music, Spotify and Apple Music.

When we’re asked to go off-model, we go off-model. To help promote Every Simpsons Ever on FXX, we were asked to craft something new and unexpected that was recognizably Simpsons, but not properly Simpsons. We reduced and reorganized characters and hitched and halted animated movement in an effort to be Simpsons-esque… but, definitely not Simpsons proper. The characters almost merge, but not quite. If one were so daft they may say they are Marging, not merging.
Last time we remixed audio from CN’s audience, we made a remix of Popsicle. This time, CN opened it up a bit wider and asked for a completely new track to pair with user submitted sounds. The result is “Stickers,” a hype micro jam from Kelly & Dan. (That’s Impactist FYI) As far as we’re concerned it makes Thursday the new Friday.

We searched through hundreds of CN Sayin’ App submissions, maybe near a thousand, to find choice samples to cut, crop, stretch, and stitch into a celebration of all things Thursday.
In addition, below are a couple of on-air ads produced by Cartoon Network, that feature the Kidless and Bass/Percussion versions of “Stickers.”
If fantasy football is hybrid of the little guys wanting to be like the big guys, then why not have a package that itself is a hybrid of big and small.
For season six of the FXX series The League, we created an episodic package made up of several micro-vignettes. Tiny hairstyles, tiny toilets, tiny nudity, and tiny trophies are all there. It has everything except overwhelming scale.
The package was captured entirely as live action. All optical effects captured in camera.

Below is a montage of the episodic package and promos we created for the seventh and final season of the The League on FXX.
It may be the final season in the trophy room, but the gang of The League isn’t going to go out quietly. Handcrafted busts get theirs when hundreds of gallons of Rafi-Ade explodes across the scene. A celebratory tsunami of orange drink sees the distinguished arrangement sink as FXX closes the book, and the EBDB, on the long fantasy run of The League.
